Privacy policy

This policy explains how Studio CC handles personal data when you visit this website or get in touch. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Studio CC, a sole proprietorship owned by Christian Tang Christensen.
Nyvej 18, 7840 Højslev, Denmark
CVR 46823508 · christiantangchristensen@gmail.com

When you contact me

If you use the contact form or send an email, I process the details you provide: your name, email address, company or shop URL if you add it, and your message. I use them only to answer your enquiry and, if we decide to work together, to prepare and carry out that work.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Enquiries that don't lead to a collaboration are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, related correspondence and invoices are kept for as long as Danish bookkeeping rules require, currently five years from the end of the financial year.

Website analytics

Only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner, the site measures how it is used: which pages are visited, where visitors arrive from, and the type of device and browser. This helps me understand what is useful and improve the site. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Analytics data is processed by an analytics provider hosted in the EU, is not used for advertising, and is not sold or shared with anyone else. If you decline, no analytics requests are made and nothing is stored on your device beyond your cookie choice. See the cookie policy for details.

Who else processes data

I use a small number of data processors to run this site: a hosting provider, an email delivery provider for the contact form, an email provider for my inbox, and the analytics provider described above. They process data only on my instructions and under data processing agreements. Some of them are based outside the EU or EEA; where data is transferred there, it is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. A list of current processors is available on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data I hold about you,
  • have inaccurate data corrected,
  • have your data deleted, or its processing restricted,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • receive your data in a portable format, and
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

To use any of these rights, email christiantangchristensen@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
